I have three pairs of white shoes. Ive always liked white shoes for some reason.
Recently, I invested in a pair of white Italian loafers for formal and social wear. They are very shiny white though so they are… distinctive..
So distinctive that when I wear them, people ( especially men ) in Glasgow cant help stop looking at me - well my feet. I don’t like the attention, they are only shoes! So my fellow Glaswegians, I ask: What makes you look at white shoes, then look at the shoe wearer as if they were a social shoe leper?
One such white shoe curio looked at them so much that he tripped and fell on his backside outside my work…. HA fookin HA..

Its been on the cards for several weeks now. I no longer enjoyed combing my hair the way Ive had for almost 15 years. The turned quiff has now gone.
When I went to my hairdresser and sat in the barber’s chair I felt pretty nervous and wondered if I would lose more than my quiff? Would I look like every other Glaswegian male with flat hair and not stick out like a sore thumb?
The hairdresser was kind of stunned when I told him its time cut it all off. He said that I would be in shock for some time as would my hair. I accepted this warning and he began to cut away Franz Ferdinand, Mark Lammar and Michael Jackson from my appearance.
A good number of gents waiting for their turn looked engrossed at the spectacle. So I still attract attention, even in a hairdressers.
The morning after I still have no regrets, Im looking forward to be up out of bed, and at work within 40mins, not 2hrs 40mins.

Readers, big thanks for the feedback to the previous post. I get decent blog ratings but one thing I don’t understand is why most of you could not leave your questions in the comments? Why email me?
I don’t mind, though.. well I am a liar. I want loads of comments.
Okay, questions.. Your questions answered:
Clairwil Asked:
1. Are you tall?
Yes, I’m 6ft 3
2. Do you have black hair and very pale skin?
Fair/brownish hair and very pale skin.
3. Are you coming to the big meet on Friday?
Email me the details. However I am kind of reluctant. If I went how does one introduce or find you guys?!
4. Can you make the pain stop?
It depends on the pain. I do have a crap medicine box..
Other questions from readers:
Q. How big is your marginal walker?
A. Well James. I have long left the days of when once a month I had a flow chart of erectile measurements as I went through puberty and the mist of time have made one forget my marginal walker sizings. Hope that’s what you meant.
Q. Do you have a lot of visitors/regular readers?
A. I believe so. I have a good amount of regulars who are mostly lurkers, but sometimes either email me or post comments. This will never be one of the greatest blogs on the blogosphere in terms of readership, but near 3 figure sums on most days is good enough for me.
Q. Okay Mr Musician, where is your music? Ive read your posts mentioning music.
A. Soon.. always tomorrow’s.
Q. Are you eternally sad?
A. Change the record please. No I am not sad. Why would you think that?
Q. Has your blog saved or changed anyone out there who was afraid of going to the Doctor if they have found a breast abnormality?
A. I don’t know. Think about it. The odds of a woman reading my blog and being fearful of what they have found are pretty slim. The current readership is too small to shorten those odds. But my story is here and if that story is shared with others then who knows?
Q. Are you single?
A. Yeah and I’m not interested in men!

Thats enough for now, but keep them coming. Ask me anything..

Ive read a good number of blogs that ask their readers to post some questions about ANYTHING and I will answer them. They can be curious questions about me ( which I will answer within reason.. ) or anything totally random.
So, as the title suggests, over to you..

Ive not posted in a few days due to studio/work commitments plus I have been recovering from a night out with friends (which included the Glasgow artist Stuart Murray ) - I am a very light drinker but somehow I ended up being rather drunk and ill. Being at work the next day was not a pleasant experience. Unshaven and wearing sunglasses with a breath like a bad brewery..
I ended up having to avoid a trip to visit friends in Gourock yesterday because I was still feeling queasy. Id rather avoid alcohol from now on, but narrow-minded people will say its a sign of socially retardedness.
Music wise I have been working on a funky track out of Tommy Sheridan’s mother’s wonderful singing. The results have been startling - she works well with hip hop beats. However I have decided to abandon the project for two reasons: Too many key changes and what’s the bloody point?
Well, maybe my ringtone idea will happen. Have a sample:
